• Built the platform using PHP, Laravel, Livewire, Alpine.js, Tailwind CSS, Stripe Billing, Cloudflare R2, and Google Gemini; deployed on Laravel Cloud
• Manage all aspects of the platform, including product development, infrastructure, customer support, analytics, and customer acquisition.

Link Shortening Service Rebuild

• Rebuilt Mailchimp's link-shortening service in Java Spring Boot, reducing p50 latency from 50ms to 3ms
• Migrated the backing datastore from MySQL to DynamoDB Global Tables, enabling a multi-region active-active architecture

User Data Migration to AWS RDS

• Volunteered as migration lead for two shard migration batches during the live, zero-downtime migration of 14 million Mailchimp user accounts to Amazon RDS using a custom Go service built on Shopify's Ghostferry framework
• Led migration of the latin1-encoded shards, developing custom normalization scripts to safely preserve data integrity across character-set mismatches

HTTP Interposer

• Contributed to building a Go-based HTTP proxy routing traffic across Mailchimp’s colocated, GCP, and AWS environments during a major cloud migration
• As infrastructure consolidated to AWS, the service evolved into a single pane of observability and load balancer across Kubernetes clusters — remains in production today

Presidential Volunteer Service Awards

• Led development of a greenfield Laravel rewrite of presidentialserviceawards.gov as part of a 3-person engineering team
• Migrated legacy data from Salesforce into PostgreSQL
